Castle Street/Castle Meadows, Norwich

This town centre site is owned by Sun Life Pensions Management Ltd who approached LRE to act as Project Managers in the undertaking of a redevelopment on a profit sharing basis.

The scheme consists of the demolition of an existing 1960s block and the creation of a new retail unit of 17,000 sq.ft. over ground, first and second floors.

Demolition and construction commenced in April 1999 following the obtaining of vacant possession of the existing building and was completed in early 2000 with a pre let of the entire building to Ottakers Bookstores PLC.
