31 Vanbrugh Hill, Blackheath SE3

This residential scheme was a second project with Sun Life BES Fund. LRE agreed to purchase the 1/2 acre site from the National Health Service subject to a change in the existing planning consent so as to provide 7 new house units including the refurbishment of an existing listed workers cottage.

After a lengthy planning process due to the natural beaty of the site, a scheme was devised to carefully incorporate the new houses within the steeply sloping  woodland. Construction involved a number of retaining structures and split level homes to cope with the site topography. Sun Life purchased the entire project for providing 100% finance at a soft financial rate.
