Mint Walk, Croydon
This development opportunity was purchased from the London Borough of Croydon. It occupies a prominent corner position in an established commercial location in Croydon Town Centre.
The scheme was highly complex being built over the Council car park, and having a nightclub at ground floor and a residential block above. The 2 buildings had to be separated acoustically, and being built on 100% of the site in an extremely busy location. The residential building has a separate frame built on acoustic bearings with independent floors and ceilings to the commercial unit, underlined by two acoustic suspended ceilings. The residential scheme comprised 16 one and two bedroom flats above and to the rear of the site built over 5 floors.
